Audio translation, such as the batch of Romanian to English audio translation files that was recently sent to Tomedes, takes time and concentration to complete flawlessly.
Not only did this client’s files have to be translated from Romanian to English, but first they had to be transcribed from the audio copy. Transcription and translation are two separate skills, but Tomedes’ has built up an extensive international team to ensure that we can easily cover all such requests.
Our transcriptionist based in Brasov got to work first, transcribing each of the audio files in preparation for the translation. Then our Sheffield-based Romanian to English translator took over, creating a version of the transcribed text in perfect English. Finally, we assigned a member of our professional proofreading team to go over the translated text, as part of the quality assurance process that we apply to every job.
By combining the skills of three separate workers in this way, Tomedes was able to provide the client with a fast and accurate translation of his audio files, and all for a competitive price that worked out as much better value for money than if he had used three separate companies for the three separate elements of the job. It’s our flexible approach that allows us to provide such excellent service – we continue to innovate to meet our clients’ needs.
