TESOL 2022 Regional Conference

What is it?

The 2022 TESOL Regional Conference is open to English Language Teaching (ELT) professionals from around the world.

The conference will bring together over 600 ELT professionals to share best practices and current research specifically relevant to English as an international language in contexts with inconsistent access to technology and outside of English-speaking environments.

Participants should consider ELT innovations in the advancement of learner-centric, communicative English instruction, digital and multiliteracies, and ELT professionalism primarily within a Central Asian context.

The conference is supported in partnership with the U.S. Embassy Tashkent and American Councils for International Education and in complement to the English Speaking Nation Secondary Teacher Training Program.

This conference is sure to appeal to teachers of English as a second language or of business English or English conversation and writing, as well as teachers or professors who teach any age or student level and even teachers of other languages besides English.

Of particular interest will be this year’s focus on how technology has shifted the English learning ecosystem and conversation about how in certain circumstances, low tech can actually encourage high creativity.
