Latin to English literary translation

Despite the fact that nobody has spoken Latin as a native language for more than a millennium, and that it is officially classed as a ‘dead’ language, there is still plenty of demand for Latin translation services. Professional translation can cover any language, regardless of how many speakers it has and whether it is considered to be a dead or a living language.
Latin is still widely used for both medial and religious purposes. There are even cash machines that operate in Latin in Vatican City. There is also a vast wealth of preserved texts and literary material available in Latin. Thus translation of Latin is still alive and well.
Recently, a Tomedes client asked for a few pages of a literary text to be translated from classical Latin to English. We were delighted to be able to help. Our network of over 5,000 professional linguists includes several Latin translators, so we had no problem in finding the perfect translator to get to work straight away on the client’s document. The text was hand-written in Latin, but that posed no problem for our translation team – we are just as happy to translate documents written by hand as we are documents written using a computer.
The client needed his translation in a hurry, so we lost no time in producing it for him. Tomedes can provide an urgent translation service for those clients who are in a rush – we appreciate that every hour can count with time-sensitive projects!
We provided the client with his Latin translation on time and within budget – meaning we have another very happy Tomedes customer! He was so pleased with the quality of our services that he has already come back to us with a further translation request.
Whatever you need translated, Tomedes can help. Our translation service covers a vast range of language pairings and is available for everything from business documents to personal papers.
