Icelandic is a language from the North German branch of Indo-European languages. The requests for Icelandic translations at Tomedes is becoming increasingly more common.
Recently, the Icelandic translators at Tomedes took on the task of translating an Icelandic poem from Icelandic into English. Our client was a student at an American University and needed the poem translated for one of her classes. Two of our translators took on the project and were able to complete it in 48 hours.
It's especially important to hire a professional translation service for Icelandic translations as it can be a difficult language to perfect. It has an inflectional grammar that could be easily misunderstood or mistranslated by a novice translator.
