Tomedes is seeking an experienced freelance Hebrew–Arabic Translator to join our global network of language professionals. This is a fully remote role involving the translation of diverse content between Hebrew and Arabic for international clients across a wide range of industries. You will work on a project basis, delivering precise, culturally aware translations that meet the highest quality standards.

Job Description:

• Translate documents, materials, and content between Hebrew and Arabic with accuracy and cultural sensitivity
• Preserve the meaning, tone, and intent of source texts across all translation projects
• Proofread and edit translated content for fluency, consistency, and grammatical accuracy
• Adapt terminology, style, and register to suit specific audiences and industry requirements
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely delivery and quality output
• Handle a broad range of content types including legal, business, technical, medical, and general documents

Requirements:

• Native or near-native fluency in both Hebrew and Arabic
• Minimum 1–3 years of professional translation experience
• Strong written communication skills in both languages
• Familiarity with CAT tools (SDL Trados, MemoQ, or equivalent) is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent projects
• Specialization in legal, political, or technical content is a plus
