Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled freelance English to Māori transcriptionist for remote transcription services. This role involves accurately transcribing audio and video content in English and Māori while ensuring clarity, accuracy, and proper formatting.

Job Description:

• Transcribe audio and video recordings from English and Māori into written text with high accuracy.
• Ensure correct spelling, grammar, and formatting in both languages.
• Identify speakers and maintain proper time-stamping when required.
• Review and edit transcripts for consistency and quality.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to meet deadlines and specific requirements.
• Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive or proprietary content.

Requirements:

• Fluency in both English and Māori, with native-level proficiency in Māori preferred.
• Proven experience in transcription (1–3 years preferred).
• Excellent listening and typing skills with strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with transcription tools and software is a plus.
• Ability to work remotely and deliver high-quality transcripts within deadlines.
