We are seeking a skilled freelance English-to-Chinese simultaneous interpreter for remote and on-site interpretation services. This role involves delivering accurate, real-time interpretation for meetings, conferences, and professional settings while maintaining clarity, precision, and cultural nuance.

Job Description:

• Interpret spoken content from English to Chinese and vice versa in real time during meetings, conferences, and live events.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency while preserving the tone, intent, and context of the original message.
• Prepare for assignments by reviewing relevant materials and terminology in advance.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and stakeholders to meet specific requirements and schedules.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.

Requirements:

• Fluency in both English and Chinese, with native-level proficiency in Chinese.
• Proven experience in simultaneous interpretation (1–3 years preferred).
• Strong listening, memory retention, and multitasking skills for real-time interpretation.
• Familiarity with industry-specific terminology (business, legal, medical, or technical is a plus).
• Ability to work remotely or on-site and deliver high-quality interpretation under pressure.
