Dealing with property transactions can be complicated enough in your first language, let alone in a second language. That’s why a recent client approached Tomedes for help. She had a property ownership matter to take care of, the paperwork for which was in Tamil. While she spoke a little Tamil, she wasn’t confident reading or writing it, so sought out our professional real estate translation service.
Spoken mainly by the Tamil people living in the Indian subcontinent, Tamil enjoys official status in India, Sri Lanka and Singapore, as well as being spoken in Malaysia, Mauritius, Réunion, Vietnam and a number of other countries with migrant Tamil communities. It is a Dravidian language with some 52 million speakers in total.
For this client, time was of the essence. She had attempted to resolve the property ownership matter herself, but unfortunately found that she was increasingly out of her depth. Machine translation was also no help – the lengthy contractual language that she typed into a machine translation tool made little to no sense and was entirely unsuitable for helping her to resolve her translation needs.
Now, with a deadline looming, the client needed professional Tamil translation to help her resolve the issue. As such, she used the Tomedes urgent translation service in order to assist her in the quickest possible timescale.
We were delighted to be able to help. One of our expert Tamil translators got to work straight away. Not only did he have experience of real estate translation, but he was also familiar with relevant legal terms as a result of his legal translation work. This ensured that he was the perfect translator for this client. The result? A perfect translation delivered in record time.
If you would like a professional, human translator with relevant expertise to work on your documents, let Tomedes know. We’re here to help.
