Urgent Italian Translation Service
For the second time in a matter of several weeks, we were contacted by a client who needed English to Italian translation, as fast as humanly possible. We receive requests for urgent translations regularly, but it seems to be a request for Italian translations more often than any other individual language. Maybe it has something to do with how fast Italians talk..?
For this particular urgent translation, our client needed professional Italian translation of a patent - ASAP. The patent was was a document of 1000 words, which is typically no big deal. The challenge was that the written content of the patent was extremely technical, requiring translators with highly advanced scientific and medical translation skills. This patent was not a document that any translator could translate. It was full of medical and scientific jargon. It's not every Italian-English translator that can translate terms like "hematopoietic stem cells" or "neural progenitor regulators" in regards to neurodegenerative diseases. Most of us don't even know what that means in English.
Technical Language Services: Scientfic, Medical, Legal Translations and More We completed the document translation in less than 6 hours, which is no small feat for a highly technical 1000 page medical patent. We've also done the same with an Italian translation of a sales report and a financial estimate. As of late, most of our professional translation services revolve around some kind of technical translation, be it a medical translation, legal translation or a scientific translation. All of these require specialized translation skills from translators who usually have a Master's degree or higher, which, when you consider the above terminology, you can see why.
