Medical Website Translation

Specialist medical terminology and technical documents are two of the most challenging items that translators come up against. Translation by machine is impossible where this kind of content is concerned: only human translation by individuals with backgrounds in the relevant sectors will suffice.
At Tomedes we maintain a bank of translators who come from all walks of life. Their varied career experiences mean that we have staff with a broad range of specialist knowledge, as well as exceptional translation abilities.
When a long-term client asked us recently to translate a webpage into both Italian and German, we knew we had the perfect pair of translators for the job. The webpage featured a high tech device for use in the medical industry and it was essential that the translations were 100% accurate, as well as containing naturally flowing prose with a professional finish.
Our selected Italian and German translators set to work immediately. We had chosen them both for the job due to their backgrounds and experience – they were proficient at the translation of technical documentation and both had the skills and accuracy required to undertake this job while producing the translation at top speed. Our Italian translator had previously worked on a number of translations for medical journals, while our German translator had experience of working on instruction booklets for medical devices.
With 24 hours of Tomedes agreeing to undertake the translation, our client had received the completed Italian and German versions of his webpage. He was extremely impressed with the quality of the translations and the speed with which the work was finished.
