The LASTE 2022: Languages and Global Communication is open to all academics, students, and practitioners who want to take part in an in-depth discussion of translation and communicative strategies. Participants from all over the world are welcome to join in.

Supported by Akdeniz University in Antalya, Turkey, LASTE 2022 - IV International Conference on Language Studies, Translation, and Education is inviting participants from all over the world to participate in the discussion about translation, language, and communicative strategies. Some of the crucial topics that will be discussed this year include but are not limited to: 

• Teaching Languages Online
• Transferring from Traditional to Online Language Education
• Specifics of Designing Online Language Programs and Courses
• Social, Political, and Cultural Discourse
• ICT in Translation

All of the topics are crucial for the translation industry and practitioners. The switch to online language education for example is a very real thing and it has made a huge impact on those who are teaching and learning languages. ICT is also playing an ever-increasing role in translation. Translation practitioners are wondering how it would affect them as the various technologies continue to develop. All of these topics will be discussed in-depth during the conference.

The aim of this event is to come up with new research paradigms in Language Studies, Translation, and Education, by combining traditions and innovations, 

Registration

Anyone who will be attending the conference, including those who will accompany other delegates, exhibitors, and even media representatives is considered to be an attendee. The registration fee will be based on the date of registration. The late registration fee will be charged right after the registration deadline.
