AELFE-TAPP 2020

What is AELFE-TAPP?

The AELFE (Asociación Europea de Lenguas para Fines Específicos/European Association of Languages for Specific Purposes) and the TAPP (Trans-Atlantic and Pacific Project) have collaborated to co-host two conferences where attendees can explore the state of contemporary language exchange and professional communication as well as the evolving digital landscape. 

The conference will be perfectly suited for researchers that specialize in linguistics, foreign languages, and technical and professional communication. Attendees from the language service industry such as translators, interpreters, and localization experts are also highly encouraged to attend. 

What Can Attendees Expect?

The AELFE conference will be focusing on professional and technical communication, its latest developments, and how they connect to the wider context of interculturalism and multilingualism. The TAPP conference will be centered on the current and future state of virtual exchange where both academics and language professional can share their insights on the current developments and the latest best practices in responding to the rapidly evolving pace of the virtual exchange landscape.
