What is Languages & the Media?

Languages & the Media 2020 is the 13th International Conference on Language Transfer in Audiovisual Media. It is a biennial event and has been going on for the past 25 years. Within that time, the conference has established itself as one of the leading AVT industry conferences in the whole of Europe. 

Everyone in the AVT industry from content creators, broadcasters, streaming services, AVT software and hardware developers, language service providers, translators and audiovisual transcribers, researchers who specialize in translation and media studies, and many more are all encouraged to attend.
